Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery
The snow-covered, central University of Wisconsin–Madison campus and downtown Madison isthmus are pictured as the winter sun begins to set on Feb. 11, 2014. At center from left to right is the Genetics-Biotechnology Center Building, Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery (WID) and Union South. In the foreground is Engineering Mall, 1410 Engineering Drive and Engineering Hall. On the horizon is the dome of Wisconsin State Capitol. The dusk view is from the roof of the Engineering Research Building. (Photo by Jeff Miller/UW–Madison)
